"Sometimes miracles arrive so tiny that we cannot feel the weight of them
-and yet we are still changed, and we are blessed none the less."

Little One

Carried for 9 weeks

Went home to be with Jesus

April, 2009

"For You created my inmost being; You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from You when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth, Your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in Your book before one of them came to be." Psalm 139:13-16

"Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of Compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God." I Corinthians 1:3-5

You've been in my prayers since speaking with your mom soon after her return from her visit with you. Lori told me of your loss as I traveled over the weekend. I praise God with you according to I Cor. 1:3-5. I too, lost a wee little one between my two oldest girls. My heart goes out to you!

Dear Rachel -
I came here from your mother's blog. My heart aches for you. I am praying for that you will find comfort and healing in the loss of this precious little one. I've been there and I know the grief and loss it brings. Rest in the arms of the Father. May His grace and peace be yours through these next days as you walk through this difficult time.

You are brave to share such a personal and private loss. Take comfort in knowing you are not alone. I will pray for your healing, coping, and hoping!

Hard to type through the tears. Visiting via your Mom's blog. I experienced the loss of my son at 18 weeks a few months ago. Heartbreaking.
Longing to meet him on the other side.

"Instant Heaven" - I loved reading "Safe in the Arms of God" by John MacArthur - and wept through most of it - but was bolstered in my faith with all of the hard evidence in God's Word that all "little ones" go to heaven instantly. I am a little late to this posting - but today I am praying that you will be comforted.
